LCF Phonics Website

I was pointed towards a website called Children Learn English Online by a colleague over the weekend. Having had a look around and played some of the games myself I have decided to let my kids loose on it tomorrow during my slot in the ICT suite.

The site is divided areas and those areas into “zones” one is called the phonics zone, which itself is split for native and non-native speakers. Then there are  divisions  which match with the letters and sounds phases, making it easy to find the resources that you would need for your lesson.

I’ll let my class use the native speakers version and try out zones 1 and 2 with them. I plan to post about my experiences later in the week.
