The VC test went OK. Well the system works but there are some things that need sorting out. There are lots of packets being dropped on both audio and visual data. The tech at the other end, a very helpful guy thinks this is likely to be due to a port miss-match so I’ve made some notes and will be asking our IT Tech to have a look next time he is in, it seems stupid to have this expensive kit in the school just sitting there and not being used.
The up-side is that we could still conference with others in our present state but they would be alerted to our data dropping. I need to start looking for activities and opportunities for it to be used in lessons and encouraging people to use it, oh and use it myself!
